DevOps Engineer - eDV Cleared

Ncounter is supporting a specialist consultancy delivering into highly sensitive National Security programmes, now seeking an eDV Cleared DevOps Engineer to join a greenfield platform build.

This is a highly technical role blending software engineering and DevOps, with a focus on building secure, scalable systems while advising clients on engineering best practice.

You will design and optimise CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure, and contribute directly to backend development using Python or Java. Alongside delivery, you will act as a consultant, helping shape DevOps strategy and platform evolution within a secure environment., * Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling

• Develop backend services in Python or Java
• Implement infrastructure as code across cloud environments (AWS preferred)
• Enhance system reliability, scalability and performance
• Advise stakeholders on DevOps strategy and engineering practices

• Active eDV clearance is essential
• Strong software engineering experience in Python or Java
• Proven DevOps or platform engineering background
• Experience with AWS, containerisation and orchestration
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD and automation tooling
• Ability to operate in secure, high-assurance environments
