Job description
As an IT Customer Support Specialist, you'll play a key role in keeping vital defence operations running smoothly. This is an exciting opportunity to support one of the UK's most critical military environments while growing your technical expertise in a fast-paced, hands-on role.
Day-to-day, you'll support, maintain and enhance our desktop environments at second line level, ensuring our people have dependable, secure technology to do their jobs.
- Provide second-line technical support to agreed service levels.
- Resolve issues across PCs, laptops, printers, LAN, video conferencing and telecoms systems.
- Troubleshoot complex technical problems to deliver swift, effective fixes.
- Configure and support mobile devices for business use.
- Answer support queries via phone, email and in-person.
This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and is based on site at RAF Brize Norton.
Requirements
- Experience delivering second-line desktop support in a Windows 11 environment.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with complex technical challenges.
- Experience supporting mobile devices in a business environment.
- Confident in handling support queries across multiple channels., We value difference and don't have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and/or willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you., The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
