Job description

We are seeking an SAP FICO Consultant to provide Level 2 and Level 3 AMS support for finance and controlling processes. The role focuses on incident management, financial integrity, and system optimization across SAP FI, CO, and AA modules., * Handle incidents related to general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, asset accounting, and financial closing

  • Monitor financial postings, journal entries, and reconciliation processes (Cloud ALM, Fiori apps)
  • Perform standard customizing (e.g., chart of accounts, posting periods)
  • Liaise with finance users to clarify issues and provide timely resolution
  • Conduct root cause analysis for complex finance and controlling issues
  • Debug backend logic, workflows, and custom code (e.g., user exits, BAdIs)
  • Support integrations with consolidation, tax, and reporting tools
  • Collaborate with SAP support, finance architects, and DevOps

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of SAP FI, CO, AA modules experience
  • Familiarity with S/4HANA Cloud (Public/Private) and relevant Fiori apps
  • Experience with ITSM tools and SAP Cloud ALM
  • Strong process understanding, analytical skills, and communication
  • Experience with hybrid cloud setups, interfaces (IDoc, APIs), and BTP extensions
  • High problem-solving skills and ability to manage critical escalations
  • Ownership mentality and strong teamwork

Optional Qualifications

  • SAP Certifications in Finance and Controlling (S/4HANA)
  • Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, Tax compliance, Financial Close tools
  • Fluent English (German beneficial), agile/SAFe experience
