Job description
The unit "IT Strategy and Transformation", directly reporting to the EBOe CIO, is responsible for the EBOe IT strategy development, as well as managing various important aspects of IT service delivery for EBOe. Together with our IT service providers, we aim for a future-proof and modern shared responsibility model in delivering state of the art information technology services.
What to do:
Shape and maintain the digital strategy and roadmap across domains (apps, data, cloud, workplace), aligned to business outcomes and the CIO agenda.
Define outcome-based KPIs/OKRs for digital initiatives (customer experience, reliability, throughput, cost-to-serve) and track benefits realization.
Build and curate executive-ready performance insights-dashboards, scorecards, and narratives that connect tech metrics to business value.
Lead regular strategy and performance reviews with domain leads and providers; drive corrective actions and prioritization decisions.
Analyze product/delivery data (e.g., cycle time, change failure rate, availability, MTTR) to identify bottlenecks and improvement levers.
Support sourcing and partnerships with outcome-focused measures; ensure provider contributions are visible in strategy and performance reports.
Coordinate cross-functional modernization initiatives (e.g., cloud adoption, observability, automation, resilience) and povide clear success metrics.
Run benchmarking and external scanning (industry peers, frameworks, best practices) to inform strategy refresh and target-setting.
Requirements
Strategy & operating model fluency: experience translating digital strategy into measurable roadmaps and OKRs.
Strong familiarity with agile/DevOps/SRE.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in IT service delivery, IT management or IT service management.
Result-oriented and pragmatic way of working.
Track record of proven facilitation of cross-functional working groups; comfortable influencing senior leaders and partners without heavy governance framing.
Team player with a high social competence.
Tooling & metrics know-how a plus: ServiceNow (ITSM reporting), Jira (delivery metrics), APM/observability tools; good grasp of reliability and flow metrics (e.g., MTTR, CFR, DORA).
