Job description
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a External App & Reporting Lead within the Finance and Systems Function. This role will be based on site in Birmingham.
Role Responsibilities;

Provide strategic oversight and collaborate closely with the finance team to ensure effective project delivery and robust cost-monitoring practices.

Lead the development of comprehensive reports to track progress, analyse performance, and surface key KPI trends for decision-making.

Evaluate and enhance existing business processes, identifying and driving opportunities for automation and operational efficiency.

Oversee the consolidation of data from ERP systems, Excel, and cloud platforms into integrated, centralised reporting solutions.

Act as the senior subject matter expert for all TiPS and TSP-related matters, ensuring accurate guidance and informed decision support.

Direct the day-to-day management, performance, and continuous improvement of TiPS and TSP systems.

Lead, mentor, and develop the TiPS/TSP Data Analysts to ensure high performance, accountability, and service excellence.
Requirements
- Demonstrated people management experience.
- Previous experience in system or ERP management.
- Strong understanding of payroll systems and time-tracking software.
- Proven proficiency in Power BI (3+ years preferred).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- A strong continuous improvement mindset.

About Balfour Beatty VINCI
Balfour Beatty VINCI is a long-established joint venture between two powerhouses for the delivery of critical infrastructure across rail, transport and other iconic projects in the UK and beyond. We started working together over 30 years ago to deliver the Channel Tunnel, as members of the TransManche Link consortium. In the Midlands, it is Balfour Beatty VINCI's role to design and build the route, ready for tracks and signalling to be installed. Our work with HS2 Balfour Beatty VINCI have been awarded a 90km section of the HS2 project from Long Itchington in Warwickshire to the centre of Birmingham and then on to Handsacre in Staffordshire.
