Job description
As a Senior Engineer at Actemium Automation Nottingham, you will play a crucial role in our project lifecycle. A customer focused role, you will be assisting the business in creating new tenders, direct sourcing and working collaboratively with the Project Managers.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Direct liaison with customers and internal design/management team
- Onsite commissioning and testing of control systems while adhering to site regulations
- Provide technical supervision of system design, build and installation personnel. Risk assessment: Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Design and testing of control systems in accordance with agreed specifications, applicable standards and legislative requirements
Requirements
Are you a skilled Senior Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity in the automation industry? or do you have the engineering knowledge and want to combine that with a desire to work with our customers on the front line?, * Engineering background: degree in Electrical or related field
- High level of ability to understand and produce control system design documents
- Strong understanding of technical project life cycle
- Good time management skills, and be able to demonstrate a structured and methodical approach to work
