The role in practice:
- Act as a financial partner to the CEO and management team on both financial and business strategy
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting, payroll, VAT, Corporation tax, and statutory accounts
- Develop dashboards and board packs that inform business-critical decisions
- Support M&A activity and funding requirements
- Engage with agency and client leadership on profitability, staffing, and capacity planning

Requirements
- Proven experience in PE-backed environments, M&A, and exit scenarios
- Strong commercial acumen and credibility with senior leadership and external stakeholders
- Experience in marketing, creative, or advertising agencies (Agency, Digital, PR or Marketing Services)
- Chartered accountant (or equivalent) with technical accounting expertise
- Strategic thinker who is also hands-on in a fast-paced environment
