About the company
Maybe you want more than just responsibility. Maybe you want influence. The kind of role where your expertise is trusted, your voice is heard and your decisions genuinely shape outcomes. You want to know that the work you do matters, not just to an organisation, but to the people it serves.
You want to be part of something purposeful. A place where quality is not an afterthought, where improvement is driven by insight rather than instruction and where doing things properly is part of the culture. You want to work alongside people who care deeply about what they do, who value collaboration over silos and who understand that strong foundations lead to sustainable success.
If you are looking for a role where you can combine leadership, accountability and impact and where your work quietly underpins everything else, then this could be exactly what you have been waiting for.
You are data driven
You love the ones and the zeros and while you appreciate and understand context, ultimately reporting on the figures is the priority. Visualising data and helping others digest it is something you genuinely enjoy. Dashboards excite you because you know that when data is clear, decisions are better, accountability is stronger and performance improves.
You understand that good data empowers managers to truly own their areas and you take pride in making that possible. Leadership comes naturally to you and while you are comfortable managing people and processes, your real strength is leading from the front. Your attitude to progress is never "that isn't my department". You believe in a unified and collaborative approach to improvement. If you see something that can be better, you raise it, you explore it and you work with others to find the solution.
Your knowledge of Further Education will be strong and apprenticeship funding rules, ILR submissions and ESFA compliance will feel second nature. This is your world and you know how to navigate it with confidence and precision.
Why this role really matters
The best bit though is why you do all of this. You know that behind every data return, dashboard and submission sits a learner, an employer and a future career. Your work directly contributes to better outcomes for people looking to make an impact in the construction industry, for their families and for the communities they live in.
Our mission is clear. We exist to provide training & development solutions that create skilled, safer and more competent workplaces, for learners and employers. We live by our values every day.
* Safety first.
* Excellence in training.
* Career growth.
* Integrity, trust and inclusivity.
In this role, you are the nucleus of everything we do. Data runs through your department. It keeps us compliant. It holds us accountable. It allows us to improve. And yes, it ultimately pays the bills. This is a highly important and influential role that contributes directly to our mission and our continued success.
Why work for Greenlight
Greenlight is the largest independently owned Construction Apprenticeship provider, safety training, and consultancy company in the west and south west of england. This is a pivotal role within a growing organisation where your expertise will directly influence data quality, compliance and performance improvement. You will have the opportunity to shape systems, lead meaningful improvement and make a real impact on learner outcomes and organisational success.
If you are ready to step into a role where data has purpose and leadership truly matters, we would love to hear from you. You might be in a financial background or a Further Education setting for example, but more importantly, you work with data. If so, we just want to hear from you!
