Job description
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Technology team. This role supports ongoing development of ecommerce and customer-facing systems, particularly Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC). The successful candidate will work closely with product managers, developers, designers, and external partners to define requirements, shape end-to-end design, and support project delivery. The role involves knowledge of Operational Acceptance and Non-Functional testing processes and will participate in testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) during sprint and release cycles.
Please note: the role includes shared responsibility for covering out-of-hours incidents with the digital rota. What will you be doing as a Business Analyst?
- Work with stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document business and functional requirements.
- Produce user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to translate business needs into actionable solutions, supporting end-to-end design beyond the digital platform.
- Participate actively in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Support end-to-end testing efforts, including system testing, UAT coordination, and hands-on testing.
- Track and help resolve issues during release cycles.
- Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for platform features, changes, and workflows.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of ecommerce and customer-facing systems.
- Provide cover for out-of-hours incidents shared with the rest of the team on the digital rota.

Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Digital Analyst, or similar role.
- Experience with ecommerce platforms, ideally Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) or similar (e.g., Shopify Plus, Magento, Adobe Commerce).
- Good understanding of agile delivery processes and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organisational skills.
- Willingness to participate in hands-on testing and release validation.
- Curiosity and empathy for the customer journey and digital experience.
Desirable
- Experience working in a retail or consumer-facing business.
- Familiarity with CRM or order management system integrations.
