Job description

We're looking for an enthusiastic, tech-savvy IT & Systems Manager to join our team at CODE. Someone with drive to identify areas of improvement and energy to translate these into action.

This is a unique role combining IT leadership, systems management, and operational efficiency while actioning or allocating all IT tickets raised within the business. You'll be deeply involved in the day-to-day details-ensuring Wi-Fi uptime, fixing printing issues, resetting user passwords, troubleshooting problems as they arise, and keeping our technology and business operations running smoothly.

You'll sit within our Sales and Marketing team, so will also help to lead technical website improvements and systems integrations, as well as improving our own student record system and assisting with expertise in digital / marketing tools., * IT & systems management - including IT infrastructure, training, supplier agreements, data protection.

  • Strategic IT projects and improvements - evaluating current systems and implementing new solutions, disaster recovery plans and management.
  • IT technical marketing support.
  • Operational & administrative support - new user set ups, CCTV management, customer internet & new build configs.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Systems engineering?, * Proven experience in managing complex IT infrastructures, networks and hardware/software solutions with a focus on server management, network security, and systems engineering.

  • Strong knowledge of computer networking.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and system integration.
  • Experience delivering IT projects end-to-end, including planning, implementing, testing and training.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, other Microsoft 365 tools such as Planner and Flow, CRM/email systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Familiarity with cloud services.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively across departments and with external contractors.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently.
