Job description
You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of IT systems across the business, alongside delivering systems and digital projects that improve efficiency and user experience. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, acting as the technical expert and trusted problem-solver.
Alongside core IT responsibilities, the role supports digital platforms and customer-facing systems, including websites and CRM tools. This is a varied role where priorities can change, and no two days are the same.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Keeping all IT systems, hardware, software, networks and communications running smoothly
- Providing direct, hands-on technical support to users across multiple sites
- Managing third-party suppliers and support partners
- Maintaining IT documentation, asset registers, policies and procedures
- Owning IT security, access controls, audits and data protection compliance
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues both remotely and on-site
- Leading IT and systems projects from start to finish, including integrations
- Reviewing existing systems and implementing improvements or replacements
- Developing disaster recovery, continuity and troubleshooting documentation
- Improving internal portals, task management tools and digital workflows
- Maintaining and updating the company website
- Supporting CRM, email marketing platforms and digital campaigns
- Assisting with basic digital content such as images or video when required
- Supporting digital activity around events or campaigns
- Supporting onboarding and offboarding from an IT perspective
- Maintaining CCTV, connectivity and site-based technology
- Carrying out regular system and infrastructure audits
- Identifying and implementing practical ways to reduce inefficiencies
Requirements
We're recruiting an experienced IT & Systems Manager for a growing, multi-site organisation. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being directly involved in delivery, problem-solving and continuous improvement., * Proven experience in a hands-on IT Manager, IT Systems Manager or similar role
- Strong technical background across IT infrastructure, systems and integrations
- Experience delivering IT projects end-to-end without relying on large teams
- Confident working with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Planner and CRM/email tools
- Comfortable supporting websites and digital platforms
- A practical, delivery-focused mindset - someone who enjoys doing the work themselves
- Strong communication skills and the ability to support non-technical users
- Well organised, adaptable and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Good knowledge of IT security and data protection best practice
