I'm working closely with a leading Microsoft Solution Partner that's expanding its ERP delivery practice following a strong period of growth. They're now looking for an experienced Business Central Implementation Lead to oversee end-to-end Dynamics 365 Business Central projects, shape ERP strategy, and provide occasional pre-sales support across a diverse client portfolio. This is a consultancy that values expertise, collaboration, and innovation. You'll join a high-performing Microsoft team, taking ownership of complex ERP programmes while enjoying the freedom of a fully remote working model. Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle D365 Business Central implementations, from discovery and requirements gathering through to deployment and post-go-live support.
- Oversee ERP project strategy, ensuring solutions align with client objectives and industry best practices.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to translate business requirements into effective functional and technical designs.
- Provide temporary support to pre-sales efforts, including solution scoping, demos, and proposal input.
- Manage project delivery, timelines, and resources while mentoring junior consultants and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure data migration, integrations, and customisations are delivered to a high standard.
- Produce clear project documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer for client teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through digital transformation journeys and long-term ERP roadmaps.
Requirements
- 5 years' experience delivering ERP solutions, with at least 3 years leading end-to-end D365 Business Central implementations.
- Proven ability to lead complex ERP projects across Finance, Supply Chain, Distribution, or Manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of Business Central functionality, extensions, and integration capabilities.
- Experience collaborating with pre-sales teams and supporting business development initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical perspectives.
- Project leadership or consultancy experience within a Microsoft Partner environment preferred.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certifications desirable.
