A bit about the job: We're looking for a proactive individual to partner with the wider Finance team in identifying, prioritising, and delivering technology-enabled improvements that drive measurable enhancements in departmental KPIs. You'll lead the prioritisation and sequencing of continuous improvement initiatives, balancing value, risk, effort, and capacity. With a focus on scalable solutions, you'll select technologies that have proven success within finance functions. You'll take ownership of benefits realisation, setting target KPI movements such as close cycle time, percentage of manual journals, reconciliation ageing, and straight-through processing rates. Additionally, you'll collaborate with Finance Risk and Assurance to ensure robust control design and risk mitigation, escalating material risks through established governance channels. Skills and experience we're looking for: Proficient in Power Apps, Power Automate, and RPA tools, with hands-on experience designing secure and high-performing applications and workflows at scale. Skilled in developing comprehensive test strategies, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Strong understanding of financial operations such as period close, reconciliations, journal entries, forecasting, and control requirements-enabling the delivery of robust solutions under time-sensitive conditions. Adept at translating complex Finance challenges into clear user stories and elegant technical solutions, with effective communication across Controllers, FP&A, Business Partners, and Operations teams.
