Data Manager Governance

Senior, hands-on data leadership role focused on delivery, prioritisation, and execution across a small data function. The remit spans data literacy and data integrity, ensuring data is fit for purpose and the business is equipped to use it effectively. Role Focus

• 50% Data Literacy - owning and delivering organisation-wide data literacy programmes.
• 50% of projects such as Data Integrity - supporting asset data and data quality initiatives, driving practical business value., * Lead and prioritise multiple data workstreams.
• Own delivery approach and execution against an existing data plan.
• Manage and support a small data team (including Power BI / Excel reporting).
• Design and deliver data literacy content, training, and materials.
• Coordinate data integrity initiatives and manage delivery partners.
• Act as a strong communicator and storyteller with senior stakeholders.
• Use AI tools where helpful (no prior experience required).

• Experience leading data literacy / enablement programmes.
• Strong understanding of data governance, reporting, and analytics.
• Proven delivery of data quality or data integrity initiatives.
• Confident leader with strong stakeholder and communication skills.
• Comfortable operating hands-on in a small, agile team.
• Industry background open.
