Job description

  • Systems administration (Windows XP, 7, 10, 11, Windows Server, Linux)
  • Managing virtual environments with VSphere, ESXI, PROXMOX
  • Administration of Firewalls, switches, and Fortinet Access Points

Topics included in the exam:

  1. Computer Networks, Firewalls, and Infrastructure Management
  2. Operating Systems
  3. Virtualization on ESXI and PROXMOX platforms
  4. Backup Systems and Veeam Backup Replication
  5. Information Security
  6. Public Procurement Law

The exam will include questions on the topics described. The content and complexity will be adapted to the requested profile.

Scoring Criteria - Competitive Phase (maximum 40 points)

The evaluation will be carried out according to the following criteria

Requirements

  • Academic degrees related to the position: 5 points
  • Continuing and/or complementary training related to the subject or field of the position, duly justified: 5 points
  • Language certificate with a minimum level of B2: 2.5 points
  1. Professional career and experience (up to a maximum of 20 points):
  • Experience in the functions within the department of the position: 5 points
  • Autonomy and responsibility in the functions of the position: 5 points
  • Specialization in work processes within the specific activity of the position: 5 points
  • Knowledge and experience in the functioning and procedures of the public sector: 5 points
  1. Professional Experience (up to a maximum of 7.5 points):
  2. Services rendered in the same or similar professional category as the position announced at IREC: 0.1388 points per full month, up to a maximum of 5 points.
  3. Services rendered in other public sector entities or research centers or universities, in a professional category equal or similar to that of the position announced: 0.0416 points per full month, up to a maximum of 2.5 points., * Intermediate or Advanced Vocational Training (CFGM or CFGS) in IT Systems Administration or similar
  • At least 10 years of experience in user support, both in-person and remotely

  • Demonstrable experience of at least 3 years working in research centers and/or technology centers and/or public universities.

  • Experience in typical IT systems technician tasks, such as managing the inventory of IT equipment, resolving incidents and user requests using a ticketing tool

  • Experience in configuring, installing, and repairing IT equipment (computers, laptops, servers, printers, and any other peripherals)

  • Management of the entity's telephony, including both devices and tariffs for each line

  • Management of security policies, creation of rules, VLANs, updates of Fortinet Firewalls, switches, access points, and control in FortiManager

  • Administration and implementation of systems (Windows XP, 7, 10, 11, Windows Server, Linux)

  • Administration and implementation of virtual environments with VSphere, ESXI, PROXMOX

  • Administrative tasks related to the control of loaned materials and signing internal documentation

  • Conversational and written proficiency in English, Catalan, and Spanish

  • Be in possession of a 33% disability certificate

Preferit:

  • Possession of a B2-level certificate in Catalan will be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Itune
  • Knowledge of managing DLP (Data Loss Prevention) in Microsoft 365
  • Knowledge of managing Microsoft Defender for endpoint and M365 Personal skills:
