Job description
Are you our new Analytics Engineer? The data landscape is rapidly changing, new (AI-driven) technologies and tools are developing faster than ever before. This increases the demand for scalable, future-ready data setups, ensuring that all those shiny tools are running on the right data. That's where you come in. We're looking for someone to join our data & analytics team at dentsu. This is your chance to combine hands-on expertise with strategic leadership in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
About the data & analytics strategy team
You'll join the Data & Analytics strategy team. Our goal is to connect data to business impact by building bridges between technical teams and marketing and media teams. The team is situated between strategy and implementation; exactly the spot to make the most impact for our clients. We talk both business and tech. We're with a team of 15 specialists from different backgrounds, cultures and with different experience levels.
You will be working with leading brands like Rituals, KLM and many more local and international clients.
Our work spans both consulting and implementing solutions. We collaborate closely with our internal media, strategy and data science teams to develop and deliver the best possible solutions for our clients.
Your Challenge: Business Impact through technical expertise
-
Architecture & Implementation: Own the end-to-end data collection strategy and implementation
-
Cloud Engineering (GCP): Build and maintain data pipelines.
-
Tooling Agnosticism: Your curiosity is your compass. While we are Google specialists, you are empowered to advise on and implement Adobe, Amplitude, or emerging CDP solutions whenever it serves the client's impact.
-
Define objectives, KPIs, and forecasting;
-
Manage stakeholders and deliver compelling client presentations;
-
Collaborate with our media teams for integrated solutions;
-
Support pitches and business development initiatives;
-
Possibility to mentor junior specialists
Requirements
- Proven Track Record: You have at least 2+ years of experience in a Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or Technical Web Analytics role, ideally within an agency.
- Technical Master: You have proficiency in SQL, Python & JavaScript
- You are an expert in GA4 and GTM. You've navigated complex tracking setups and know how to bridge the gap between marketers and developers.
- The Fixer Mindset: You understand that tools and code are a means to an end. You are relentlessly curious and always looking for a better, more innovative way to solve a problem.
- Language: Fluency in English is required. Dutch is a nice to have since a lot of our clients are Dutch.
