Job description
We're looking for a Digital Content Executive to support Bower's digital growth through high-quality, engaging, and compliant content.
This is a hands-on role for a creative content professional who enjoys writing, optimising, and publishing content across digital channels, with a strong understanding of SEO best practice. You'll work closely with the Head of Digital Marketing, compliance, and external partners to ensure content drives visibility, engagement, and conversions., Content Creation
· Create and optimise content for websites, blogs, guides, and landing pages
· Write engaging email content, including newsletters and nurture journeys
· Produce and schedule content for social media, including short-form video and graphics
· Support the planning and creation of video content such as explainers and testimonials
· Ensure all content meets FCA compliance requirements while remaining clear and customer-focused
SEO & Optimisation
· Carry out keyword research to inform content planning and optimisation
· Optimise on-page elements including metadata, internal linking, and page structure
· Support technical SEO improvements in collaboration with IT and developers
· Assist with link-building and digital PR activity
· Maintain local SEO listings (Google Business Profile, Bing Places)
Performance & Insight
· Monitor content and SEO performance using analytics and search tools
· Track organic traffic, engagement, and conversions
· Provide insights and recommendations to improve content effectiveness
Requirements
Do you have experience in WordPress?, · A strong copywriter with experience creating digital content for web, email, and social
· Comfortable working in a regulated or compliance-led environment
· Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals and how they support content performance
· Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple pieces of content at once
· Collaborative, with good communication skills and attention to detail
Experience & Skills
· 2-4 years' experience in a digital content or content marketing role
· Working knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush
· Experience using CMS platforms such as WordPress
· Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g. HubSpot, Mailchimp, Brevo)
· Basic experience creating or briefing video and social content
· SEO or digital marketing certifications are a plus, but not essential
