I am currently recruiting for a Senior Manufacturing Support Engineer to join a world-class Manufacturing Operations team based in Winnersh. This is a permanent, office-based role offering the opportunity to work with life-saving infusion products while driving innovation in manufacturing processes., The Senior Manufacturing Support Engineer provides high-level technical expertise to sustain existing infusion products and introduce new solutions to the market. Your core focus will be on safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency.

• Technical Leadership: Deliver leadership for projects and transitions, ensuring all technical elements are organised and meet budget/timeline requirements.
• Team Management: Indirectly manage and guide engineering teams within the Operations department, providing direction and mentoring to staff.
• Problem Solving: Provide engineering solutions for complex issues through structured analysis, root cause analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Continuous Improvement: Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies and FMEA to drive improvements in manufacturing processes and product design.
• Lifecycle & Obsolescence: Lead initiatives addressing product obsolescence, including manufacturing line transitions and resolution strategies.
• Compliance: Ensure all activities meet strict regulatory standards and quality systems, including risk management and validation for engineering changes.

We are looking for a proactive professional with strong technical expertise in product design and manufacturing processes.

• A degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing engineering, including assembly, machining, PCBA manufacture, and plastic injection moulding.
• Proficiency in FMEA, tolerance analysis, configuration control, CAD, and PLM systems.
• Proven ability to lead projects and influence cross-functional teams within a highly regulated environment.
• Demonstrated experience with regulatory compliance, quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies., * APQP,Continuous improvement,Lean,Process improvement,Project managment,Six sigma
