Job description
A rapidly growing consultancy has secured several major projects and is now looking to build a new data team from the ground up. They need an experienced Head of Data to define the data strategy, lead delivery, and establish best practices across multiple engagements., * Develop and own the data strategy for client projects.
- Build and lead a high-performing data engineering and analytics team.
- Define architecture standards and ensure scalable, secure solutions.
- Act as the primary client contact for all data-related initiatives.
- Drive innovation using cloud technologies and modern data platforms.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Head of Data, Data Director, or similar leadership role.
- Strong background in data engineering, architecture, and analytics.
- Expertise in Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake (experience with GCP or AWS is a bonus).
- Familiarity with modern data stack and best practices for data governance.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
