Role summary The Technology Support Engineers sit within Technology Support, which is a corporate wide service that aims to maximises the effective use of hardware (laptops, tablets, smartphones, desktops etc), productivity software, digital communications, including collaborative technologies and digital information systems. In this role you will;

Implement and maintain IT hardware, software and licensing to meet agreed targets and deliver high-quality customer support.

Provide local, on-site support for internal customers across community-based workplaces.

Resolve IT incidents and queries promptly in varied and sometimes high-profile situations.

Assist with physical tasks, such as moving IT hardware and setting up office spaces.

knowledge and upskill colleagues on productivity tools and IT solutions to maximize business benefits.

Adapt to a fast-paced environment, making calm and measured decisions under pressure.

Work flexibly and collaboratively within a mobile team, demonstrating self-motivation and teamwork.

Support customers through evolving technology landscapes, ensuring smooth adoption of new tools and systems.
We have key hubs in Scarborough, Ryedale, Hambleton, Richmondshire, Harrogate, Skipton and Selby. There may be times where you will travel between areas. This position is primarily office-based, with opportunities for hybrid working across the various sites and occasional home working when required. What you can bring The main focus of the role relies on good inter-personal skills, so if you have experience in a customer facing role, we would love to hear about it!
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in Windows?, * An understanding of IT industry best practises and procedures, change, incident, request fulfilment and problem management processes

A good level of Windows operating system experience

Broad technical knowledge of pc's/laptops/peripherals and their architecture

A working knowledge of current software packages - Microsoft Office etc.

ICT industry experience

Experience of working as part of a team
You will have use of a work vehicle for site visit purposes so a valid driving licence is necessary. What can we offer you?
