Job description

We are seeking a dedicated IT Support professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. This role requires a strong understanding of various operating systems and networking concepts, as well as excellent customer service skills to assist users effectively., * Provide first-line technical support for hardware and software issues across various platforms, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer networking, VPNs, firewalls, and TCP/IP configurations.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions using Active Directory.
  • Assist with desktop support tasks, including installation and configuration of operating systems and applications.
  • Perform software troubleshooting for Microsoft Office applications and other business software.
  • Maintain documentation of support requests using help desk tools such as BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, or Jira.
  • Conduct analysis of recurring issues to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure the security of the network by monitoring firewall settings and network performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance IT processes and improve service delivery.

Requirements

Do you have experience in macOS?, * Proficient in computer networking concepts (LAN/WAN) and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS).

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server environments and desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS).
  • Experience with SCCM for software deployment and management.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with users at all levels.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on user satisfaction.
  • Ability to analyse problems logically and provide effective solutions promptly.
  • Familiarity with technical support tools such as BMC Remedy or ServiceNow is advantageous.
