Job description
As a (Data) Security Officer within System Operations, you are the expert advising on digital security and privacy matters at tactical and strategic levels. We're building the energy grid of tomorrow for everyone, with everyone. And as Security Officer, you're part of that mission. You'll be working on:
- Advising on cybersecurity, information security, and IT/OT risk management.
- Developing a clear security vision and translating it into frameworks and guidelines.
- Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, including GDPR.
- Guiding multidisciplinary teams in implementing security best practices.
- Coordinating audits, incident response, and compliance reporting to regulators.

That's only possible if you have enough energy-and the right environment gives you that. Within System Operations, you'll work alongside ambitious, and internationally oriented colleagues to develop an autonomous, safe, and resilient energy system. In the Change Team, you'll help optimize and innovate processes, systems, and collaboration. You are the driving force behind digital security and privacy in this transformation., * A gross monthly salary ranging from € 5.310,- to € 7.585,- (scale 10).
- An annual Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 18% (full-time) or 12.8% (part-time) of your gross annual salary. This includes 8% holiday allowance. You can choose to have this amount paid out, or use it to purchase additional leave days. You decide what suits you best.
- 24.5 vacation days per year, which you can easily supplement using your IKB.
- A year-end bonus in December of 6% of your annual salary.
- An annual Sustainable Employability (DI) budget of €700. Use it, for example, to cover costs for sports or hobbies, make your home more sustainable and green, or reduce your student loan with DUO. You decide where your budget goes.

Requirements
- A minimum of HBO+/WO level of education and 5-7 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, information security, and IT/OT risk management.
- A background in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certifications such as SABSA, CISSP and knowledge of ISO 27001/2/19 and NIST standards.
- Knowledge of privacy legislation and experience with compliance and audits.
- Ability to advise independently and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluency in English, given the international nature of the organization.
