Job description
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and finalising assigned IT projects according to the time, budget and scope defined by the project board. This includes securing resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects successfully. The Project Manager will ensure that a project remains focused on its objectives and oversee quality control throughout its lifecycle., A sponsorship licence is a legal requirement for employers seeking to hire individuals from outside the UK or those who require a work visa to work in the country. Unfortunately, SQE does not possess this licence at this time.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Waterfall?, Experience: direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution, specifically within an IT environment (e.g., software development, infrastructure implementation, cloud migration).
- Certifications: At least one of PRINCE2 Practicitioner, APM or PMP certification.
- Proven proficiency with project management software (e.g., Monday.com, TeamWork, SmartSheets, Microsoft Project, Jira or Asana).
Skills:
- Strong understanding of both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Confidence at leading conversations at the project board level
Desirable:
- Knowledge and experience with low and high-stakes assessment
