Job description

This section tells you all you need to know about the position and its responsibilities, outlining everything we hope to see in a successful candidate., We are seeking an experienced Insights Analyst to enhance reporting capabilities and improve data accessibility across our International business. This role will proactively identify requirements and deliver user-friendly solutions that empower decision-making. Adopting best-in-class development practices and providing ongoing support to key business areas, contributing to the creation of a world-class knowledge base.

NB: This role is based at our Paddington Support Office a minimum of three days a week and is a full time permanent position.

What you'll do

Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Ensure data quality and integrity by validating sources, performing checks, and maintaining governance standards
  • Monitor and optimize performance of dashboards and reports to ensure efficiency and scalability
  • Provide continuous support to business areas, collaborating effectively with report engineering teams based in India
  • Lead reporting projects and initiatives independently, managing the full lifecycle from scoping and development to delivery and ongoing operational maintenance
  • Proactively identify opportunities for report optimization, evaluate initiatives using data-driven insights, and contribute to long-term strategic objectives, Supporting colleagues connected to the Armed Forces, aiding their transition to civilian life, and ensuring that they thrive in the workplace., Fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace culture, addressing stigma, providing guidance and raising awareness to empower and assist colleagues affected by cancer.

Requirements

Do you have experience in SQL?, * Proven experience in global or international business environments

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Databricks. and practical application of Python (or similar) for data modelling
  • Expertise in creating interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI (or equivalent tools).
  • Strong understanding of retail-focused datasets and ability to translate complex data into clear, impactful insights.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, including data storytelling for senior leadership
