Job description
You are technically responsible for the development and maintenance of both new and existing embedded software. The software needs to be qualified as a medical device which needs excellent coverage of unit and integration tests with good documentation. You work on one or more projects and also take on an advisory role in other projects where interaction with embedded software is required. Your expert opinion as an embedded software engineer is essential to the progress of both other projects and software teams.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Jira?, * At least a completed HBO degree Computer Science or related fields comparable field;
- Several years of experience in programming embedded systems and the C++ programming language;
- Experience with Git, GitLab, and Jira;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a structured way of working;
- A strong sense of responsibility and the ability to perform under pressure;
- Communicative, pleasant to work with, and flexible;
- Knowledge of and experience with (object-oriented) programming and PLC systems. At Wassenburg, we use CodeSys;
- Experience with the standards IEC 62304, ISO 62366, ISO 14791, and ISO 13485 is a plus;
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.
