Senior Network & Security Engineer
Are you an experienced Network & Security Engineer looking to lead cutting-edge projects in a global environment? This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation driving network modernisation and OT segmentation.
Your new role You will design and implement secure network architectures, managing core Cisco technologies such as ASA firewalls, Firepower Threat Defense (FTD)/NGFW, Identity Services Engine (ISE) for NAC, Cisco+ Secure Connect, and Wireless LAN Controllers. You'll optimise DMVPN/MPLS for remote sites, evaluate SDWAN solutions, and enforce zero trust policies.
As a subject matter expert, you'll lead OT segmentation projects, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor junior engineers. Collaboration with global teams and compliance with GDPR and data privacy standards will be key.
What you'll need to succeed
- Ideally 8+ years in networking, with 5+ years focused on security.
- Expertise in Cisco ASA/Firepower/FTD, ISE, Cisco+ Secure Connect, WLAN Controllers, DMVPN/MPLS, SDWAN, IDS/IPS
- Strong Azure networking and cloud security skills
- Advanced packet capture skills (Wireshark, TCPdump)
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, Fortinet NSE, CISSP (preferred)
- Experience in pharma/manufacturing/OT environments is advantageous
