Are you a technically focused individual who enjoys working with data, automations, and systems while supporting both internal teams and clients with accuracy and care?
Join Proinsight as a Business Support Technician and play a key role in developing the technical infrastructure that underpins Proinsight's next phase of growth.
This is a brand new, full-time role, located in Cirencester. You will support the technical expansion of the company through developing technical efficiencies within the business. You will assist in the implementation of process automations and data pipelines to build the technical foundation for Proinsight's next phase of growth. You will also deliver accurate and timely support for client and internal requests through the 'Support' inbox. Success in this position requires a strong focus on quality, data excellence and friendly customer service, working alongside multiple stakeholders.
What you'll be up to:
Tech & Automation
Identify repetitive manual tasks (e.g. data copying between systems) and work with the team to automate them using n8n. Assist in maintaining Proinsight's Microsoft Fabric data lake Develop and maintain simple Javascript scripts and use basic SQL as your tools of automation to interact with APIs and process data extracts. Providing support across multiple technology focussed projects.
Inbox & Business Support
Manage day-to-day tickets in the Support inbox, which includes client onboarding, updating locations and users, building and editing surveys, and handling mystery shop appeals and queries. Deliver requests to SLA, always championing accuracy, quality, and customer service. Escalate complex or unusual issues to management.
Resources & Process Support
Keep the knowledge base (Proinsight Client/Shopper Academy) up to date, so shoppers and clients can easily find guidance for common queries. Follow agreed processes carefully, highlighting anything unclear or that could be improved. Take pride in data quality, making sure everything delivered is accurate and consistent.
Requirements
Strong analytical skills with a focus on quality and data excellence TypeScript - useful for developing n8n nodes Python - we are expanding our data analysis capability API fundamentals - REST and JSON are the glue between many systems LLM prompt/context engineering - we want to complete more of our work using AI, where appropriate Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables and XLookups. Customer Service experience would be advantageous.

What we'll pay you: A competitive salary, plus a bonus (structure dependant on role).
When you'll be working: You'll typically work 40 hours a week, 8 hours a day, Monday to Friday, usually between 9am and 5:30pm, with a 30-minute unpaid break each day.
