Job description
As part of the Cloud Operations team, you will play a vital role in supporting the People First SaaS platform, a modern, microservices-based HR and payroll solution built in Azure and delivered to hundreds of customers., As a Senior Engineer, you will ensure the reliability, scalability and automation of MHR's People First platform through effective cloud operations, monitoring and continuous improvement. The role will apply SRE principles to build resilient systems and drive operational excellence in Azure.
In this role you will.
- Build, deploy, and maintain People First cloud environments through automated processes.
- Ensure operational reliability by implementing robust monitoring, alerting and diagnostic capabilities.
- Collaborate with Platform and Development teams to ensure solutions are designed for operational excellence.
- Develop and maintain automated scripts for provisioning, scaling and configuration management.
- Contribute to incident response and root cause analysis for critical issues
- Drive continuous improvement in availability, latency, performance and capacity management.
- Document and evolve operational procedures and standards.
- Support Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs) tracking.
- Participate in on-call rotations and proactive reliability improvements.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Terraform?, * Proven experience in DevOps and Continuous Delivery methodologies.
- Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools.
- Hands-on experience in SaaS operations, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or DevOps within Microsoft Azure environments.
- Strong automation skills using PowerShell, Terraform, or other scripting languages.
- Demonstrated capability in incident management, conducting post-incident reviews, and ensuring service readiness.
- Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and modern release practices.
