Front End Developer

An excellent opportunity for a skilled Senior Front End Developer to join a growing software development environment, working on secure, large-scale web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks, SQL, and strong UI/UX principles., As a Senior Front End Developer, you will contribute to both front-end and back-end development, taking ownership of UI/UX decisions and supporting the delivery of scalable, high-performance web solutions. Experience with Figma Prototyping would be highly desirable

The Senior Front End Developer will collaborate closely with Project Leads, Business Analysts, and technical colleagues, ensuring applications meet functional, usability, and security requirements.

This role is office-based and requires eligibility for government SC-level security clearance, offering long-term stability and exposure to high-impact projects., Your duties as the Senior Front End Developer include:

• Application Development: Designing and developing high-quality corporate web-based applications

• Front-End Engineering: Building responsive, accessible interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks and advanced CSS

• Back-End Contribution: Supporting server-side development using SQL and a low-code development platform

• UI/UX Leadership: Acting as technical and UI/UX lead on assigned client projects

• Scalable Design: Creating performant and scalable solutions suitable for large organisations

• Collaboration: Working closely with Project Leads and Business Analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions

• Quality Assurance: Ensuring code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practice

• Previous experience in software development within a commercial environment

• Experience with at least one JavaScript framework such as Vue.js, React, or Angular

• Strong UI/UX skills with advanced knowledge of CSS

• Experience working with SQL databases at a basic to intermediate level

• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Eligibility to obtain government SC-level security clearance, including UK residency requirements

DESIRABLE

• Experience using graphic design and prototyping tools such as Figma

• Exposure to low-code development platforms

• Knowledge of ITIL principles or certification
