Are you ready to take the lead in one of the most picturesque parts of the country? If so, we're offering an exciting opportunity to step into a key leadership role in South Dorset, where you'll guide and inspire on-the-ground teams while managing the day-to-day operations of the water network.

What you'll do
As a Network Supervisor, you'll lead and support a team of Distribution and Customer Inspectors to ensure the delivery of a reliable, high-quality water supply service across the Poole, Blandford and Purbeck area.
You'll be responsible for maintaining and improving network performance, managing operational budgets and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
A key part of your role will be driving customer satisfaction by minimising supply interruptions and responding effectively to operational challenges, including extreme weather events and helping to provide solutions to network and customer issues.
You'll also play a vital role in developing your team through mentoring, training and succession planning, while fostering a strong culture of health, safety and wellbeing.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in Water systems?, A strong background in water network operations is essential, along with leadership experience and a good understanding of water systems, leakage control and water regulations.
The role involves balancing operational efficiency with customer expectations and regulatory demands, often under financial and environmental constraints. Strong communication and collaboration skills are vital, as you'll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.
In addition, you will have:
- data analysis and IT skills
- a full clean driving licence
- strong communication and presentation skills
- IOSH qualification
- experience in water supply networks and management (preferred).
You will be required to work 45 hours per week plus standby cover if needed.
