Lead Developer Mobile Apps (80-100%)

As a Lead Developer for Mobile Apps, you'll play a key role in driving the development of Belimo's mobile applications ensuring they offer seamless user experiences and robust connectivity with our devices. In this role, you will combine hands-on development with technical leadership, guiding architecture, quality standards, and collaboration across internal and external teams. What You'll Do Drive the development of intuitive and sustainable mobile applications that enhance the customer experience Ensure seamless commissioning, diagnostics, and connectivity for Belimo devices via mobile apps Lead development and architecture efforts, consulting the Product Owner and team to implement features effectively Review and contribute to code regularly while managing technical debt Establish and monitor quality guidelines and secure software development practices Collaborate closely with architects, integration, and verification teams to ensure robust testing and compliance Guide and coordinate a distributed supplier team and participate in external developer recruitment Promote secure development practices aligned with cybersecurity standards Who You Are

Do you have experience in Software development?, Do you have a Master's degree?, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Several years of mobile app development experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead role

Strong understanding of scalable mobile platform architecture; Flutter experience is a plus

Experienced in integrating mobile applications with cloud services and REST APIs

Familiar with communication protocols such as Bluetooth and NFC, with a focus on secure data exchange. Skilled in automated testing, including hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) and IoT-related testing

Demonstrated experience with secure software development practices and cybersecurity standards

Fluent in English; German language skills are a strong advantage

Strong leadership, mentoring, and collaboration abilities, with experience in Agile/Scrum environments and a mindset for continuous improvement
