Job description
- Designproof-of-conceptwiredcommunicationsPCBs/modules,usingADI and 3rd-party components.
- Optimize forperformance and EMC compliance.
- Perform channel measurementsand analysis.
- Performdevice level andsystem level testing,including scripting/automatingtest equipment and data gathering.
- Coordinate/supportEMC testingandboard-leveloptimization.
- Support ADI standards engagement by participatingin,andmaking technical contributions to standards-development organizationse.g. in measurement, compliance and interoperabilitytopics.
Requirements

Minimum BS in ElectricalorCommunicationsEngineeringand several years' relevant experience; MSEE and5+ years of experience preferred.

Solid knowledge of high-speed analog(and power circuit?)design.

Experience of high-speed circuit/PCB design and simulation.

Knowledge ofwired commstransceiver andSERDES functional blocks (Equalization, CDR, Noise sources, etc.)andrelatedperformance measurements.

Experience with lab equipmente.g.VNA,Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer,BERT,AWG, protocol analyzers.

Experience of using Pythonfor automation of lab equipment and measurements.

Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to understand and clearly articulate technical issues to peers, management and customers and solve problems cross-functionally.

Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with teams spread geographically.

Familiarity with EMI / EMC compliance standards and testing.

Experience with SERDES hardware testing and evaluation.

System modeling experience in Matlab/Simulink or similar tools.

Knowledge ofwired and wireless communication standards.
