Senior software engineer

You'll join a core backend team of 4 developers (all around 30, with 4+ years of experience). You'll be the most senior engineer and will help lead the way in how the system is designed and built. You'll shape a new notification system, help split off and refactor parts of the old backend, and guide the team on how to apply Domain-Driven Design in practice.

You don't need deep AWS knowledge, but you should be comfortable using the AWS SDK directly in your code.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience with backend development (Node.js/TypeScript)
• Some experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Able to guide team members in code and modeling
• Familiar with AWS SDKs in application code
• Based in the Netherlands (visa sponsorship available)
