Senior software engineer - trading tech

Our client's Risk Tech team is developing a Risk & Alert Framework that traders will use daily-and they need your expertise to push it further. Our client is a fast-growing cryptocurrency trading firm with offices in Amsterdam and Singapore. • Enhance and expand the existing Risk & Alert Framework used by traders.
• Work closely with traders and stakeholders to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain systems for risk monitoring, reporting, and alerting.
• Collaborate within the trading, mid-office, and risk teams on internal tooling.

• Experience with Python/SQL.
• Experience in financial trading, risk, or fintech is a plus.
• Attention to detail is crucial-a single mistake can have major consequences.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills-you need to translate technical work into trader-friendly solutions. English is fine.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and WebSockets is a bonus.
• Not a specialized web developer role-this is about backend risk tech.

Nice To Have

• Experience with C++ or Rust (especially if from a trading background).
• Background in building high-stakes financial systems.

• Base salary: 80K - 120K (incl. holiday allowance). For juniors, this can be lower.
