As part of a regional delivery team (with central co-ordination), you'll work closely with engineers, analysts, product owners and stakeholders to explore and present data on topics that are currently the highest priority within the rail industry. This is a unique opportunity to work with a variety of high-value datasets and make a direct impact on how one of the UK's most critical infrastructure networks is managed.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and visualisations using modern BI/visualisation tools

Work with regional teams to understand business needs and turn data into actionable insights

Requirements

Proven experience in data visualisation and BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau or similar)

Strong grounding in data storytelling and user-focused design

Ability to work with varied datasets and extract key insights

Experience collaborating in multi-disciplinary teams

Passion for transport, infrastructure, or solving complex real-world problems through data

(Desirable) Knowledge of Python, R, or SQL for data transformation

(Desirable) Familiarity with GIS or geospatial data visualisation

Personal Attributes:

Analytical mindset with a focus on data accuracy and quality.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

Proactive and adaptable, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
