Job description
Are you a developer who thrives on solving complex data challenges and delivering high-quality solutions for high-profile customers? This is a chance to join a fast-growing technology company at the heart of financial data automation supporting everyone from emerging fintech disruptors to some of the world's most established financial institutions.
The role: You'll become a key figure within the delivery team, taking ownership of how the platform is configured, built, and brought to life for clients. You won't just be writing queries or tweaking logic; you'll be shaping full end-to-end solutions, guiding a team through the build process, and acting as the go-to technical expert throughout project delivery.
You'll work closely with solution designers to turn specifications into working, reliable implementations, creating build plans, setting out testing strategies, and ensuring that delivery runs smoothly from start to finish. The work is varied, combining deep technical involvement with leadership, coaching, and hands-on problem-solving across complex data journeys.
As projects move through the lifecycle, you'll lead peer reviews, oversee acceptance testing, manage defect triage, and drive the delivery of remediation releases. When go-live approaches, you'll prepare deployments, support clients through the transition, and ensure solutions are handed over cleanly to support teams. It's a role where your technical judgement, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-moving environment will make a real impact.
Requirements
You'll likely have worked in FinTech, SaaS, or financial services, with a solid understanding of implementation lifecycles and how to deliver configuration or code to scope, time and budget. Strong SQL skills are important any major SQL platform is welcome along with experience analysing and manipulating data, tuning performance, and working with reporting tools such as SSRS or Power BI would certainly be advantageous. You'll be comfortable defining test cases, managing defects, and guiding others through best practice. You're someone who can mentor junior developers, lead during complex phases, and work collaboratively with teams across the business. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills are just as important as your technical experience.
Benefits & conditions
You'll be part of a company that genuinely values its people, offering excellent career development, access to high-quality learning platforms, and regular opportunities to grow your technical and leadership skills. Alongside competitive salary and bonuses, you'll enjoy an extensive benefits package including private healthcare, enhanced pension options, extra holiday purchase, gym discounts, cashback rewards, and even an additional day off for your birthday.
Most importantly, you'll be joining a business building technology that helps their clients automate, optimise, and strengthen control over their most critical data processes.
