Job description

As the 1st Line IT Support Engineer, you will be the one of the main points of contact for the business, logging IT support issues & requests, managing the call flow lifecycle, providing help desk assistance and technical support for a wide range of issues affecting end users.

These issues may include software problems, equipment breakdowns, and data-related concerns. Your responsibilities will be diverse and fast-paced, offering the right candidate ample opportunities to contribute to business processes and continuous improvement initiatives., * Act as a first point of contact for the IT department ensuring our internal customers receive a high-quality experience when engaging with us

  • Log all IT support tickets, carry out escalation and assignment of tickets (internal support teams and 3rd party providers), manage ticket life cycle ensuring appropriate and timely communication
  • Provide technical support for all types of issues affecting end users throughout the business
  • Participate in 2nd/3rd line support activities, build & support of equipment (laptops, tablets, mobile phones)
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of new IT procedures, policies and systems within the Support, IT and wider business.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Mobile devices?, * Excellent communication skills, particularly in conveying technical issues to non-technical staff.

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Experience in a helpdesk/service desk environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with IT hardware and mobile devices.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 suite
  • Experience with Entra & Active Directory User Management
