IT Administrator

The Tech Administrator plays a critical operational and coordination role across Data, Business Applications and IT Operations. This position ensures smooth day-to-day technology functions, supports cross-discipline collaboration, and provides foundational IT support (Level One) as needed. This person acts as the "glue" between teams, enabling tasks, communications, logistics, and administrative execution that keep technology services running efficiently., Cross-Team Coordination

• Serve as central liaison between IT Operations, Data Engineering/Analytics, Business Applications and other tech teams.

Administrative & Process Support

• Maintain and update operational and administrative documentation (e.g., licence inventories, user permissions, onboarding/offboarding checklists).
• Manage licensing tasks: tracking renewals, compliance, and allocation of software licences.
• Book meetings, schedule rooms and coordinate calendars for IT project or operations teams.
• Raise Purchase Orders (POs), follow supplier engagement processes, and track order fulfilment.
• Order consumables and equipment for the technology teams.
• Proactively chase open actions, tasks, and support tickets to closure.
• Assist with basic data tasks such as preparing reports, validating records, and supporting data quality initiatives.

Supplier & Stakeholder Interaction

• Act as first point of contact for selected vendors/suppliers for routine enquiries.
• Coordinate deliveries, maintenance windows, and supplier meetings.
• Provide clear escalation and hand-off when technical issues require specialist intervention.

Do you have experience in Organizational skills?, * Practical experience in an IT support or technical operations environment (helpdesk, service desk, technician, support admin).

• Familiarity with common IT tools, systems and services (user account management, ticketing systems, hardware/software lifecycle).
• Good organisational skills with ability to prioritise and track multiple workstreams.
• Strong communicator with the ability to work confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable taking operational ownership of tasks and driving them to completion.
