Job description

As a BI Analyst you'll help turn data into clear insights that support smarter decisions across iQ Student Accommodation. Working within a supportive, collaborative BI team, you'll develop reports, dashboards and datasets while building your skills with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and modern data-modelling practices. This role is ideal for someone early in their BI career-curious, eager to learn, and ready to get hands-on with real business problems. You'll work on everything from ad-hoc analysis to supporting larger reporting initiatives, partnering with stakeholders across the business, * Experience using Power BI, including building reports and basic DAX.

  • Understanding of core analytics concepts such as data modelling, star schema design and measures.
  • Foundational SQL skills for querying and exploring data.
  • Familiarity with Power Query for data transformation.
  • Ability to turn business questions into reporting requirements with support from senior team members.
  • Confident communicator who can work with stakeholders across a range of technical levels.
  • Comfortable balancing multiple tasks or small projects.

Requirements

Do you have experience in SQL?, * 1-2 years in a BI, data or analytical role-but we're also open to graduates with the right passion and potential.

  • Hands-on experience with Power BI or similar BI tools.
  • Foundational SQL experience for exploring and validating data.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams is a plus.
  • Exposure to cloud data platforms (Azure, Fabric or similar) is helpful but not essential.
