Job description

Are you ready to lead change that truly makes a difference?, We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Business Analyst to join our IT & Business Change Guinness Team. This permanent, full-time, 35 hours per week vacancy based in our Oldham office. We are currently working to a hybrid working style.

The purpose of the role is to lead the Business Analysis practice, developing the team to deliver consistent high-quality outputs whilst ensuring effective collaboration on design and business requirements across the group.

You'll be able to demonstrate

Essential:

  • Experience in a Principal or Senior Business Analyst role, with prior responsibility for a BA Practice or a domain management.
  • Proven ability to deliver quality business solutions for programmes / projects, balancing time, cost and quality in a range of delivery environments including agile and waterfall.
  • Strong analytical background with a proven track record of development of robust business cases through the provision of fit gap and cost benefit analysis.
  • Proficient in the use of software delivery, collaboration and business process management tools e.g., Lucid Chart, Azure Dev Ops (ADO), MS Teams and Asana.
  • Able to lead, develop, engage, and influence at all levels.
  • Excellent written, numerical, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 tools.
  • Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.
  • Demonstrates the Guinness Leadership and Management Standard.

Desirable:

  • Experience of core housing business processes.
  • Experience of Cloud Adoption projects and programmes., Essential:
  • BCS Diploma in Business Analysis.
  • Educated Level 6 (Degree or equivalent) or higher.

Desirable:

  • Process re-engineering/improvement accreditation e.g., Lean or Lean Six Sigma.
  • Enterprise Architecture qualification e.g., TOGAF.
