Job description
As a System Configuration Analyst at Brown & Brown (Europe), you'll play a key role in configuring, maintaining, and enhancing our insurance platforms and associated online experiences. Working within agile, cross-functional squads, you'll collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to deliver high-quality system updates and improvements. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex configuration challenges, supporting business change, and driving continuous improvement across our technology landscape
- Configure and administer insurance platforms and web experiences, translating user requirements into practical solutions.
- Maintain configuration standards, document changes, and communicate impacts to users.
- Collaborate with QA Engineers and analysts to define test scenarios, support testing, and assist post-implementation.
- Participate in agile ceremonies to align configuration tasks with delivery goals.
- Support data integrity and optimize system performance through proactive configuration management.
- Assist in rollout and release planning, ensuring configuration readiness and version control.
- Provide training and guidance to users on system functionality and configuration impacts.
- Evaluate new platform capabilities and contribute to roadmap discussions with vendors.
Requirements
We're looking for candidates who bring a strong analytical and technical mindset, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies. You might already have experience as a Systems Configuration Analyst, or you may come from a background in website development, UI design, or another technical field and be ready to apply your skills in a new context.
- Analytical thinker with a passion for solving problems and improving systems.
- Experience with simple website development (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript) or UI design is a plus.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile ways of working.
- Experience with insurance platforms, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft SQL Server scripting, or SaaS platforms is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve technical issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new platforms and technologies.
