Job description

Lead the ongoing enhancement and delivery of cyber security services, ensuring processes are effective, consistent, and aligned with industry best practices.

  • CFC Documentation Library:

Oversee the development, maintenance, and accessibility of the Cyber Framework Controls (CFC) documentation library, ensuring up-to-date and reliable resources for the organization.

  • Cyber Communications, Reporting and Metrics:

Develop and manage comprehensive cyber communications strategies. Deliver clear, actionable reporting and metrics to stakeholders to support informed decision-making.

  • Commercialization:

Identify and implement opportunities to commercialize cyber security initiatives, supporting business growth and demonstrating the value of cyber programs.

  • Cyber Workforce Training and Development:

Lead the creation and delivery of training programs to enhance cyber awareness and technical skills across the organization.

  • Cyber Security Champions:

Establish and nurture a network of Cyber Security Champions to promote best practices, foster collaboration, and drive continuous improvement.

  • Audit and Regulatory Response:

Coordinate responses to audits and regulatory inquiries, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and timely delivery of required documentation.

  • Cyber Project Engagement:

Partner with project teams to embed cyber security considerations from project inception through delivery, supporting secure and successful outcomes.

  • Critical Security Event Lessons Learned:

Lead post-incident reviews, capturing lessons learned from critical security events and integrating improvements into processes and training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Professional certifications (highly desirable): CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security +, AWS/Azure Security, SANS (e.g., GIAC certifications), or equivalent.
  • Experience

  • Minimum of 3-7 years' experience in cybersecurity roles, including service delivery, consulting, or professional services.
  • Proven experience across the full project delivery lifecycle (scoping, design, implementation, handover) using structured methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Hands-on involvement in managing and supporting delivery of cybersecurity services such as vulnerability assessments, SOC operations, IAM, GRC, or incident response.
  • Experience with Power BI for reporting, analytics, or service performance visualisation.
  • Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards: ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, GDPR.
  • Knowledge of threat assessment, risk management, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing fundamentals.
  • Experience with security operations and tools: SIEM (e.g., Splunk, OpenSearch, Cribl), EDR/XDR, firewalls, IAM, and vulnerability management platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud security principles (AWS/Azure) and network infrastructure security.
  • Service Delivery & Operational Skills

  • Ability to engage and manage client relationships as a primary point of contact.
  • Skilled at monitoring service-level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Proficient in preparing documentation, technical reports, proposals, and client presentations.
  • Experience in process improvement and quality assurance within service delivery.
  • Soft Skills & Professional Attributes

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborative team player-comfortable working with technical, sales, and product teams as well as external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
