Join the RealityKit framework and tools team building the infrastructure and automation systems that power Apple's spatial computing platform. This unique role combines deep technical knowledge of real-time 3D systems with expertise in build technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation., We're looking for an engineer with a background in real-time programming who finds the greatest satisfaction in building systems that empower the team to create exceptional user experiences. While your day-to-day work focuses on build systems and developer infrastructure, your north star is enabling teams to ship products users love. You'll work at the boundary between graphics frameworks and infrastructure engineering, ensuring that complex spatial computing technologies can be developed, tested, and delivered with confidence across Apple's platforms. Requirements
Do you have experience in Swift?, Experience with CI/CD systems and build automation Proficiency in Python for tooling and automation Demonstrated ability to identify and solve infrastructure bottlenecks Proven track record of shipping user-facing products or features, with a passion for end-user impact Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration Self-motivated approach to improving developer workflows with an eye toward product quality and user experience Expert knowledge of Swift and Swift build systems Hands-on experience managing Jenkins or similar CI/CD platforms at scale Experience with distributed build systems and build caching strategies Contributions to build tooling or developer productivity tools, Proven industry experience in graphics, game engines and tools, or related fields BS in Computer Science, Computer Graphics, or equivalent degree/experience Strong knowledge of C++ and modern build systems Solid understanding of 3D mathematics
