Job description
As Document Controller, you will be responsible for the effective management, control, and distribution of project documentation across multiple fit out projects. You will work closely with Project Managers, Site Teams, Design Teams, and external stakeholders to ensure information is accurate, up to date, and issued in line with project procedures.
This role is critical to maintaining document integrity and supporting smooth project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, manage, and maintain document control systems, primarily using Procore, Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and clients regarding document submissions and approvals
Requirements
Proven experience as a Document Controller, ideally within Fit Out / Construction
Strong Procore experience is essential
Good understanding of construction drawings and project documentation workflows
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Confident communicator, able to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Desirable
Experience working on commercial office, retail, or high-end fit out projects
Knowledge of additional document management systems
Previous experience working on London-based construction projects
