  • For a large pharmaceutical company, creation and implementation of a new operating model across the organisation's entire real estate portfolio. Including:
  • Preparing the business case for change leading the cost benefits analysis of the new RE / FM operating model
  • Developing the CRE and FM strategy for the delivery of a high-profile facilities and workplace services transformation programme;
  • Leading a team of consultants to manage the change and implementation processes
  • Design and establishment of a new target operating model for a client organisation, including the supply chain and service delivery models;
  • Working alongside with the client's senior Real Estate and Facilities personnel, and leading a team of 3 Deloitte consultants to develop the procurement outsourcing strategy and business case for facilities and estate management activities across 200 locations across the UK for a public sector client;
  • Conducting options analysis around development of technology and AI solutions for the next generation of FM and RE services for a major Bank - including analysis of the existing technology landscape, workplace applications and identifying value creation through technology and AI in FM / RE.
  • Preparation of robust business cases supported by detailed strategic sourcing and category plans, including an in-depth analysis of potential service delivery models.

There are four key reasons this opportunity presents an excellent prospect for successful applicants:

  1. You will work with the biggest clients, global organisations

We work with the world's largest and most influential organisations. In addition to our public sector focus, we support a cross sector of global private sector organisations (including Financial Services, Energy, and Life Sciences, Telecoms and Technology) with significant Real Estate portfolios and Facilities Management requirements.

  1. You will work on the most relevant, pressing, and complex challenges

There has never been a more exciting time to work with our clients on the challenges they face. Our clients' Real Estate and FM functions are supporting their organisations in evolving to embrace the future of work, disrupting the RE market with AI and adapt to post-pandemic ways of working. Their employees are acting as consumers, making choices about when / how / why they consume space, and physical space can be a key attraction to talent for the best organisations. However, the economic environment provides critical challenges such as the need to significantly reduce cost, through leveraging new / lower cost locations, reducing portfolio size, restructuring the supply chain and service delivery models and making an impact on the bottom line by lowering operational spend.

These are generational challenges for our clients, with which they need our support.

  1. You will engage with senior stakeholder of organisations

The breadth, strategic importance and complexity of our clients' challenges mean we work with colleagues from across Deloitte (e.g. Human Capital, Digital), and engage with the C-suite in our client's organisations. We frequently engage with CEOs, COOs, CFOs, HR Directors of FTSE 100 organisations.

  1. You will be part of a high performing team with the opportunities to develop your career in a large professional services firm and the opportunities that can provide

We take personal development seriously, offering a comprehensive range of learning and development opportunities within a stretching yet highly supportive environment. Our appraisal process is structured, transparent and interactive so you will receive continuous training and ongoing supportive feedback to achieve the goals that you set yourself. You will be part of an environment where excellent client service, creativity, hard work and ambition are rewarded.
