Job description

Are you an experienced IT Manager who thrives in operational environments where systems uptime really matters? This position sits at the heart of a growing UK operation within a global food manufacturing group, with real influence over infrastructure, systems and digital delivery.

As the IT Manager for the UK, you will play a critical role in implementing and supporting the global information technology strategy at the local level. You'll oversee infrastructure, enterprise systems, and cybersecurity ensuring smooth, secure, and efficient operations across the business. This is a hands-on leadership role with significant strategic influence.

Your key responsibilities as IT Manager will include:

  • Leading the implementation of the global information technology and digital strategy across the UK business.
  • Managing and maintaining the Information Technology infrastructure, networks, and security to ensure maximum system availability.
  • Overseing enterprise systems including ERP and the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Acting as the key link between the UK operation and global IT and PMO teams
  • Leading, mentoring and developing a small UK IT team while managing third-party suppliers

  • Proven experience as an IT Manager in a manufacturing, warehouse, FMCG or operationally complex environments.
  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Demonstrable experience in Information Technology operations and infrastructure management.
  • Demonstrable experience leading teams and managing vendors.
  • Proven expertise with ERP sytems, SAP, WMS, and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
  • Strong background in network administration, cybersecurity, and service delivery.
  • Experience with EDI integration and ITIL/PMP best practices.
