Job description
- Subsystem Ownership: Lead the design, specification, and architecture of the OBDH and Avionics suites through Phases B, C, and D.
- Technical Management: Manage external equipment suppliers for key hardware including OBCs (On-Board Computers), MMFUs, and RIUs.
- Interface Design: Define and manage data handling interfaces and protocols across the spacecraft.
- Collaboration: Act as the primary technical point of contact between mission architects and hardware manufacturing teams.
Requirements
- Industry Experience: Proven track record in the Space/Aerospace sector with a focus on Digital Electronics or Avionics.
- Data Protocols: Expert knowledge of SpaceWire, MIL-STD-1553, and CAN bus.
- Hardware Logic: Familiarity with FPGA/ASIC design and radiation-hardened electronics.
- Lifecycle: Experience with ESA/Industry standard mission phases and AIT (Assembly, Integration, and Test) support.
- Communication: Ability to work in a multi-national environment (English required; French, German, or Spanish is a plus).
