Job description
This role plays a key part in supporting an obsolescence programme, ensuring robust configuration processes and high-quality data integrity across systems.
Many changes have now been defined and need submitting to customers' portals.
You will report to the Senior Engineering Supervisor and work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate configuration documentation and support engineering activities., * Support and promote configuration management processes.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve configuration issues.
- Ensure changes to product configurations are accurately documented, controlled, and communicated to internal and external stakeholders.
- Process design data releases and engineering changes.
- Create and update EBOMs (Engineering Bill of Materials).
- Maintain integrity of EBOM data during transition between PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and SAP systems.
Requirements

Experience in engineering support roles, ideally in the aviation industry (2 years+)

Strong understanding of PLM and SAP systems

Good IT skills with the ability to quickly pick up new software

Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy

Confident communicator with the ability to support internal engineering teams, as well as be able to discuss technical issues with external customers
