Express Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with an award-winning technology business as they look to recruit an IT Hardware Administrator to join their team based in Peterborough.
Based in the warehouse, you will play a key role in the warehouse operation function, combining hands on technical support with warehouse administration and stock control. Working closely with the Warehouse Technician and Warehouse Manager, this role supports machine builds, refurbishments and logistics to ensure devices are fully prepared and installation-ready prior to dispatch., * Carry out inspection, build, configuration and refurbishment of new and used devices to ensure they meet company quality standards prior to dispatch
- Prepare devices for installation including network and print readiness, firmware updates, accessory installation and pre-installation fault resolution
- Manage warehouse stock processes covering machines, parts and consumables including replenishment, stock takes, asset registers and accurate system updates
- Process goods in and out of the warehouse including new deliveries, returns and used equipment
- Maintain accurate records and reporting within internal systems to support asset tracking and operational planning
- Act as a key liaison between warehouse, technical, engineering and sales teams to support build schedules and delivery timescales
- Support day to day warehouse operations including maintaining a safe and organised environment and assisting with installations as needed
Requirements
- Technical mindset with experience in hardware, IT, device configuration or a similar environment
- Strong attention to detail with good problem-solving skills
- Confident communicator able to liaise with engineers, technical teams and management
- Organised and proactive approach able to manage workloads and meet deadlines
- Competent IT skills particularly Microsoft Office with a flexible and hands on attitude
