Job description

The role of Technical Administrator will be to provide support to the Technical Department in the day to day running of the office and to provide secretarial and administration support.

Principal accountabilities of the role include:

  • Administration duties for Technical team as required including monitoring and process emails as required and diary management
  • Collate, copy & circulate departmental sections of internal / Group reports
  • Carry out general office duties including typing, copying, filing, archiving, processing and circulating reports and minutes, including ad-hoc minute taking and coordinating service technical meetings to include refreshments
  • Keep departmental holiday forms, charts and absence records up to date
  • Issue all drawings and specifications for Technical Team and update Links for technical drawing issues
  • Assist with Plot Handover Packs, procedure management and maintenance and accessing of Central Archive system

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a secretarial / administration role
  • Technical administration experience is desirable

Qualifications and Training

  • No formal qualifications are necessary, but evidence of relevant experience and skills will be required

  • Proficient IT skills along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and outlook) and the ability to adapt to new systems.
